Nakashima Fusuma Door Restoration

Precious Pieces restored Japanese traditional style fusuma sliding doors at the birth place of George Nakashima Woodworkers in New Hope, PA. These historical residence doors have been updated and replaced with the precise mid-century Washi pattern using Precious Pieces’ film reinforced tear/poke proof Washi. Historical visual elements are preserved while infused with modern durability.
