Custom Art Washi Parchment with Illuminated Wall Picture Frame

A cherry blossom Washi Parchment art work was commissioned by Precious Pieces/Hiro Odaira for a residence as a tribute to the owner’s trip to Japan. Multiple watermark techniques were used for the artwork. The wooden picture frame that was specially created for the space together with Nakashima woodworkers used modernized back-lit construction. This exquisite piece expresses Japanese style and the emotion evoked by the memories it reflects.
