“Recycling: Washi Tales” At Asia Society

Precious Pieces contributed to the performance “Recycling: Washi Tales” which took place at the Asia Society, NYC on March 24th and 25th. This performance consists of 4 tales about paper making from different periods of Japanese history.  It has an extraordinary ensemble of performers and musicians in a world created by distinguished paper artist, Kyoko Ibe.

Each evening of its theatrical run at the Asia Society, the audience was filled with fans of art, theater, music, and Asian culture. The performance closed with a reception for the many enthusiastic supporters of this innovative piece. It had an extraordinary ensemble of performers and musicians in a world created by a distinguished Washi team.
