Washi Parchment Media Center Cover/Screen

Precious Pieces designed and installed a cutting-edge Washi Parchment media center cover/screen,as well as the superior woodwork, at a penthouse apartment in NYC. The screen hides the television to create harmony with the contemporary interior design, but slides when the television is to be viewed. The Washi is hand-pleated and coated with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish for stain and spot protection, while the sliding mechanism was carefully studied, tested and crafted with precision cut wood for smooth daily operation.
