Restration of Washi Umbrella Lamp Shade

Precious Pieces restored Washi Umbrella Lamp Shade. Our craftsman started the process by removing old pieces and torn paper and cleaned up thoroughly every single piece of the umbrella ribs. Then, it needed to manually match color of the paper before it has been faded through decades.

After careful crafting all parts including joint parts, the lamp diffuser, Washi, was updated to tearproof with durable waterproof clear coat. Now, the vintage lamp looks exactly the same as well as durable. it perfectly fits to modern usage as well.
