Igusa straw, which has been used for Tatami, is anti-mold, and anti-bacterial. It purifies the air and controls the humidity. In addition, its faint fragrance has a spiritual healing effect.
Sustainable Material
Washi wall coverings are produced from a completely new concept, using Igusa Straw grown only with a bare minimum of chemicals. Only the best quality Igusa Straw, cultivated in Kumamoto in Japan, is being used for Washi wall covering.
